The inspiration for this project was a clean and contemporary long, landscape gas fire along a back wall, with lit bookcases either side and tv above.

To flue the fireplace came with a challenge due to no direct outside wall, we had to adapt the flue position vertically then 90 degrees to exit through the flat garage roof.

The chimney breast was made with 1000 degree fire board to protect the shelving which we framed through a metal structure, creating a recess central above the fireplace for the tv.

The key feature of the project was a high quality, barbas bell fires 1.8m glass fronted gas fire.

The client was able to achieve a clean and simple fireplace with colours tying in with the kitchen.
